Evolution Movement Presents: The December Series!

Evolution Movement is all about growth from the basics. We evolve and grow as both an organization and as a group to help others do the same. Featuring Choreographers from all around California, from the Bay to L.A. we host Friday classes for anyone and everyone who has the same Love for the Art of Dance.

**Registration opens at 7:00pm
Class starts at 7:30pm - 9:00pm**

About Steve:

Steve has been officially dancing for 8 years, but has had a love of dance all his life. He began his love for dancing when he joined Ygnacio Valley High School’s Dance team. From there, he continued taking dance classes wherever he could take them. It eventually led him to San Francisco and Funkanometry SF Company Classes. It was there he met Krystle Pascua who urged him to audition for their youth team Funksters. After his stay on Funksters, he set his sights on the competition circuit and joined an up and coming dance company in Berkeley. That team went on to win 2nd place at the Southern California competition, Max’t Out, in 2009. After the team he took a break and decided to train with Funkanometry’s Performance Workshop 7 & 9, all while assisting his former team, Funksters. Steve currently dances with Aftermath Dance Company. They have competed in shows such as Collaboration, Breakthrough, and Prelude. Steve’s choreography has been showcased in competitions such as World of Dance and Best of the Best.

Steve’s choreography has been influenced by may of the experiences he’s had over the years. Groove has been the dominant influence in his choreography. Inspired elements from choreographers such as Adela Vanikova (Funks SF), Glory Mendoza(Funks SF), and his mentor, Bibi Khalili (De La Femme/First Class Arts).
